Car Cover Installation Instructions

1. Place car cover over vehicle
2. Install four (4) clamps as follows: Place one clamp on car cover just in front of the left front wheel at the 8 O'clock position Place one clamp on car cover just in front of the right front wheel at the 4 O'clock position Place one clamp on car cover just behind the left rear wheel in the 4 O'clock position Place one clamp on car cover just behind the right rear wheel in the 8 O'clock position Note: each clamp should grip the cover such that the elastic hem of the cover is tightly within the "teeth" of the clamp
3. Place one bungee under the front of the vehicle to attach the left and right front clamps
4. Place one bungee under the rear of the vehicle to attach the left and right rear clamps Hint: Hooking a golf club or broom handle to one end of the bungee may be of assistance when stretching the bungee under the front or rear of the vehicle.

General Installation Instructions

For use on Gust Guard applications other than Car covers (small and medium)

Simply attach the clips to four corners of your cover and connect each pair of clips with one of the two tie-down cords. Placing the cords under or behind a wheel or leg will produce the best results.

CAUTION:

Gust Guard Cover Clamps are intended for stationary use only, DO NOT USE TO SECURE TARPS OR COVERS ON MOVING VEHICLES

Extreme caution should be taken when straps are stretched. Do not stretch beyond 50% of un-stretched length. Do not overstretch. Hooks should be firmly held and securely fastened. When stretched the strap may rebound and snap back with considerable force. Care should be taken that the face or other vulnerable body parts are kept away from potential strap rebound. Protective eyewear should be worn when fastening and releasing product. If hooks or straps show signs of wear, do not use.
